I’ve been making things again.

And it feels undeniably good.

Making art soothes me. I can literally feel my nervous system slowing down, calming, and settling into a natural rhythm as I draw.

I’m so grateful that art does that for me. When I was growing up, that wasn’t always the case.

I stopped inviting my inner critic to my creative practice, and it totally changed my life. Stop letting your inner critic call the shots and get back into the creative flow!

Here’s the thing—creativity isn’t just for artists. It’s for anyone who’s ever solved a problem, rearranged a messy system, or figured out a new way to get things done. You don’t need a paintbrush or a poetry degree to be creative. You just need a little curiosity and permission to play.
